 Unit 2  I’m Liu Tao

教材简析:

本单元由Story time, Fun time(Guess and say) ,Cartoon time ,Letter time ,Checkout time ,Rhyme timeTicking time 七个部分组成。安排了“介绍自己的姓名”、“询问对方身份”语言情景,话题贴近生活,学生乐意学习。在教师创设的情境中学生能听懂、会读、会说日常交际用语Are you…?并能针对实际情况作出Yes,I am.No,Im not.的回答。能认识人物Mike,Yang Ling,Su Hai, Wang BingLiu Tao。通过本课学习使学生有兴趣听、说英语、背歌谣,做游戏、敢干开口,乐于模仿,在鼓励性评价中树立信心在小组活动中积极参与合作,在表演、游戏、诗歌等形式的学习过程中激发学生对英语学习的兴趣。学习字母EeFfGg”。字母的学习要对单词的字体、书写方法、规格等方面要进行示范、指导,使学生逐步形成良好的书写习惯。字母教学要通过多种孩子乐于接受的形式结合音形义训练,为孩子的英语学习奠定良好的语音基础。

教学目的:

1熟练掌握句型Are you……?Yes I am. / No I’m not,并能在实际中自然、熟练地运用;

2 熟悉人物Mike, Yang Ling, Su Hai, Liu Tao,做到看图能够分辨出人物;

3 能正确读出英文人名Moe(莫伊), Joe()

4 了解You are right 的使用

5 能熟练诵读歌谣 Are you Mike

6能正确认读、书写字母“EeFfGg”。

7能比较熟练地运用本课所学的日常交际用语询问对方的姓名并相互作出正确的回答。

8在教师的指导下 能对本单元所学内容进行自我评价。初步形成自我评价的能力。

教学重点和难点:

T:Now ,I want to introduce some more friends to you.

(依次出示Yang Ling,Su Hai Wang Bing的图片,引导学生用所学交际用语进一步和他们打招呼)

T: So,if we want to greet others ,we can say :

(引导学生回忆并作答)What can we say?

Ss: Hi , …/Hello ,…Good morning/Good afternoon./……

T: What are their names?

Ss:

T: If we want to guess others’ name we can say(当我们想猜测别人的名字时我们可以说): Are you…?

Step3 Story time

Mike comes to the classroom. He says hello to Yang Ling. Mike不清楚另外两名学生的姓名,他是如何问的?

Mike doesn’t know the other students’ names,how does he ask?

1.    Watch and answer

The T shows the masks (Liu Tao, Yang Ling ,Mike ,Su Hai ) : Please introduce yourself to them and ask “Are you?”

2.Play a game: Are you?

The Ss are divided for several groups .In each group ,the Ss ask and answer one by one .

e.g  Sa: Hi ,I’m …Are you?

Sb: Hi ,I’m … (Sa&Sb clap their hands )

Sb :Hi, I’m …Are you?

Sc: Hi ,I’m …(Sb&Sc clap their hands )

S2:No. Im not. Im ××.(引导学生用否定形式完整回答)

2 Revision (复习第一课时story的对话)

T: ( ppt出示一张MikeSu Hai的图片)Look at the boy, who is he?

S: He is Mike.

T: Youre right. The girl is Mikes new friend. And how dose Mike know the girls name? How does Mike say?

S: ……(引导学生说Are you Sui Hai?)

T: And the girl says: ……(引导学生说Yes, I am.)

(同时老师板书句型Are you……?

Yes, I am.)

T: (出示第一课时story time中的图2) Now I am Mike. Who wants to be Su Hai? (师生对话图2)

T: Now who wants to be Mike? Who wants to be Su Hai? (请几组学生表演对话图2

T: (出示一张Liu Tao 的图片) Look, our class has a new student, is the boy Wang Bing?

S: No.

T: How does Mike say?

S: ……(引导学生说 Are you Wang Bing?)

T: And how does the boy say ?

S: ……(引导学生说No, Im not. Im Liu Tao.)

(同时在之前的板书上补充No, Im not. Im ……)(然后请几组学生表演对话图4)

(出示总结句型用法的一张ppt,复习句型的使用)

 

Step 2 Play a game

T:Now lets play a game: Guess and say. (ppt中文展示游戏规则)

T:I need five students, who wants to play the game?

(找五名学生上讲台后,先分别用Hello,Im××.作自我介绍)

T: Now who wants to guess?

T:(对一名猜的学生) You need to face the blackboard and you cant look back.

T:(对另四名学生)One of you can say something to him/her, and you can say Hello.

(引导猜的学生用Hello, are you××?提问,然后另外的学生回答Yes or No。)

(循环往复,游戏约两组。)

T: (游戏结束后) Now open your books, turn to page 14. Read the dialogue by yourselves, and answer my questions: Who is the girl? (出示一张Yang Ling的图片)

S: She is Yang Ling.

T: Now read the dialogue in pairs, one is Mike, one is Yang Ling.

Step3 Play a guessing game

T: Now Mike is very happy , because he has many friends. Do you know them? Lets Play a guessing game. (出示一张有几个人物阴影图片的ppt: Guessing game: Who am I?)

Step 4 Rhyme time

T: Now its the rhyme time. There is a rhyme. First read by yourselves. (学生先第一遍自由读)

T: Now lets listen to the tape.

Lets read after the tape. (第二遍跟录音读)

T: This time, lets say together.(第三遍齐读)

T: This time I say Hi. Hi. Are you Mike? , you say Yes. Yes. Youre right. What does it mean? I say Hi. Hi. Are you Moe?, You say No. No. Im Joe. Understand?

2.T:Who is Mike?(让戴着Mike头饰的站起来说:Im Mike.

3.T: Oh, so many Mike. Let me guess who you are.

问学生我们不确定对方是谁会怎么问?

引导学生说出:Are you? 回答是 Yes,I am./ Yes, youre right./ No, Im not.(板书)

4 继续游戏询问其他任务让学生辨别面具下的真面孔…

3 Review the rhyme.

T: Do you remember the rhyme Are you Mike?

(Say the rhyme together)

T: I can make a new rhyme like this

Hi, hi, are you Kyle?

Yes,yes, youre right

Hi, hi, are you Bobby?

No, no, Im Tommy

T: You can change the names, and make a new rhyme with your partner. You have one minute. When time is up, I will invite some students to come here and show us their rhymes.

Step 2 Cartoon time

 1 Introduce the background and arouse students interests.

 T: Look at the picture. Bobby and his friends are playing a game hide and seek. Are they happy? 

Ss: Yes, they are happy.

T: But they are scared now (TPR). They are shouting and running. Why do they run away? Do you want to find out the answer?

2  Presentation

1) Watch the cartoon

T: Lets watch the cartoon and find the answer.

T: Why do they run away?(PPT展示汉语以便学生理解)

Ss: Here comes Sam./They are afraid of Sam.

T: Youre so clever!

2) Point and read

T: Now take out your books, and turn to page 15. Lets point and read aloud. (After reading) You did a good job!

3) Read by themselves

T: When Bobby says Goodbye, what does Sam say?

Read again, and answer my question.

T: What does Sam say?

Ss: Goodbye.

T: Yes. If Miss/Mrsays Goodbye, you should say

Ss: Goodbye.

5) Try to act

T: Lets make a movie. Work in groups of four, try to act the cartoon. Pay attention to your expression and action. After the show, we will discuss and elect the best group .

Step 3 Letter time

1 Presentation

T: Its time for letters. Lets play a game.(看动作猜字母复习A-D)

T: Look at the picture. What letters can you find?          

Ss: Its letter E/F/G. (卡片认读)

T: Lets play another game: The letter before (说出前一个字母)

T: Lets look how to write capital E/ lowercase e. Show me your point fingers. One, two, three, four. Now, look at me. I can write it on the blackboard. Can you write E on your notebook? (大小写示范后让学生写四个)

T: LetterEalways pronounces /i:/ and /e/. For example, me, he

 E, e, e, e is for elephant.

T: Now close your books and write the three letters on your notebook. Then check with your partner. If you write all the letters correctly, you can get three stars. Your partner will draw a tick here (point to PPT). If you write two letters correctly, you can get two stars. Your partner will draw a tick here (point to PPT)

T: How many stars do you have?

T: Lets read the letters together.

Step 4  Checkout time

学完这单元,我们还要会引导学生归纳出 ticking time的内容,然后呈现图片做检查,让学生先同伴合作说给同伴听,然后核对,再互评

T: Here are four pictures. Look at Picture 1, who are they?

Ss: They are Liu Tao and a teacher.

T: Can you guess how Liu Tao answers his teacher? Think about it.

Ss: Yes, I am.

T: Lets check. (PPT) Youre right!

T : Now look at other pictures and try to answer them. If you need help, you can talk with your partner. You have three minutes.

T: What does the boy say in Picture 2?

  (choose some groups to answer) Lets check the answer.

Step 5  Ticking time

T: Do you want to be a little teacher? Now Mr/Missgives you a chance, and you can draw ticks for yourselves. Do you answer all the questions correctly? Three stars for yourself.(Point to PPT) If you answer two questions correctly, two stars for yourself
